Get Outa Here, Buzzards!! I'm Not Dead Just Slow

Is it a bad sign that the first bird you see in the morning is a buzzard?   Well, I saw not one, but 3:  one on the ground and 2 circling overhead.  Should I be concerned?    I may be old  ... getting older  more mature, but I'm not dead....I just need to jump-start my motivation....where is that ignition switch?

I'm out here at the Western Edge for a few days. The task list is ever-increasing as the minutes tick by and I'm clearly lacking in the motivation department.   Cowboy and Ranch Hand are replacing a line of fence on the east pasture, 2 cows are ready to calve any time now, the pasture at the north end needs mowed...and I sit here....sigh.

My job today is to mow.....yahooooo!  I'm a big fan of riding that big mower!  Dew is still on though, for now. While I'm waiting for the dew to evaporate, I'm working on the cattle records, doing laundry and running the dishwasher, and talking to you.  (My "employees" are very obedient: washer, dryer, dishwasher...they do as I tell them...haha)
