Yeah, I've Got Skills Alright!

Another lovely spring morning at the patch of paradise known as home.  I mowed the lawn yesterday.  Not so exciting?  Well, let me tell you I got to use the giant Kubota which heretofore has been off limits to all but Cowboy.

Certain "toys" are his domain alone.  But....since he's out at the Western Edge and the grass just keeps growing....and I have the skills...so.

The yard looks pretty good.....except this:

Yeah, I've got skills alright!
Ok, so let me explain....I blew grass up on the sidewalk which is taboo (akin to blowing grass onto the white rocks of the driveway..sooo bad).  I thought I could just drive up there and blow the grass back into the yard...but I made little grass stain tracks which are waaaaay worse.  Now I have to figure out how to clean it up before he gets home.  You won't rat me out, will you?  I'm thinking bleach water and a scrub brush.

But look at this beauty (which I had nothing to do with):
The lilac is blooming.  I'm so thrilled!  One of my all-time favorite flowers!  On my grandparents' farm was a huge lilac bush growing next to the outhouse (fitting place, right?)   My girl-cousins (more like sisters than cousins) and I would steep lilac blossoms in water to make lilac perfume ....eau du parfum par excellence ...farm girl style.  It seemed like a good recipe at the time.

Gotta go!
