Theodore, the Elvis of Cats

Ever look back on your day and wondered what in the world you did with all that daylight?  I'd like to tell you about my day but I can't remember what I did....hmmm.  Let's see..... Fed chickens & dogs..  worked in the blackberry patch....  did some paper work...  made a couple phone calls...  bank, post office, grocery.  Yep, that about does it:  another stellar day on the patch of paradise.

Remember a few posts back when I mentioned our cat, Theodore?  The ninny-muggins.  He "helped" me in the blackberry patch this morning.  He made it a point to lay right where I was working.  I couldn't help remembering how much of a sissy I thought he was when we brought him home.  I was sure he'd be run over by now or eaten by a hawk or a coyote...but, no!  As a matter of fact, he is the neighborhood bad boy.  He has more scuffs on him than a 20 year old pair of boots.  I think he goes out and looks for fights.

He's the Elvis of cats.... He sings his version of "Trouble":

If you're looking for trouble
You came to the right place.
If you're looking for trouble
Just look into my fuzzy face
I was born standing up
And hissing back
My daddy was a green-eyed mountain cat
Because I'm evil, my middle name is misery
Well, I'm evil, so don't you mess around with me.

Warning:  Don't be rumblin' with my cat...he won't back down, won't run from trouble.  He ain't skeert a-nuthin'.  Today he has a scuff under his left eye and a bloody patch on his right thigh.  His paralyzed tail has healed itself, though.  So he's got that going for him.  haha

Maybe tomorrow will be more eventful.  Nighty-night.
